110gr in the 270 wsm

110-115 Hollow Points ARE "Wicked" in, a .270 WBY or, .270 WSM at 3,500++ FPS for, SURE !
Don't Plan on, Skinning ( saving Hides ) of, any Coyotes, at the CLOSER Ranges, as they will produce, shredded, "Stew Meat" on, Neck or, Shoulder, shots for about, 15 to 20 Yards, behind, the Animal, hit ! Yup,. I tried, the Hornady 115's in my .270 WBY, when, much, younger,.. WOW !

Go for it! Speed is a fun thing. We have loaded our 117g Hammer Hunter to 3600 fps in the wsm. I would suspect that a 110g would get to about 3700 fps.
Well if you don't have a caliber for Varmints/Predators i guess you can use a 270 WSM, but a lot of powder and noise. We like to have a stable of rifles/pistols for different applicatations. It is like a Post a while "If you only had one or two Firearms-What would you Have".
We try to match the cartridge with optimal powder/bullet for each animals we harvest. (cost savingsand recoil) Not saying you can't go over. There is no such thing as "OverKill" Dead is Dead!
Just try to match the caliber/bullet to the game harvested.
This is what we use and there are many other great cartridges for each application depending on the distance. (we make our own firearms so this can change anytime)
Varmints:
.17 Hmr
.22 LR
.204
.223
6BR
Predators:
.204
.223
.243
6BR
.260 rem
Deer size/Pronghorn
.243
.260
32 Special Marlin 336
.270WSM
Elk/Bear
32 Special Marlin 336
.270WSM
.325WSM
.338LM

No special purpose other than just having fun with the gun and load development
Probably try the Hornady
I used, a Fast burning Powder, like,.. IMR 4895
The 115 gr., Flat Based, H P Horn was, very "Accurate",.. IIRC
T'was,.. a Lazer !

I never got those FPS even with a 26 inch using Ramshot Hunter or h100V. With 110 GR. HDY V-MAX. But with flat primers and low case life I backed it down I tried H4350 and Ramshot was the best.

I went to 120 gr hpbt for a better BC

Well then for darn sure 2 bullet's I'd give a roll would be the 90 Sierra HP (far and away the most accurate light bullet I've ever seen for the 27's) and the 117 Hammer.

I've not had stelllar accuracy (to date) from any of the 110's, but that pesky 90 Sie has shot balls out in my 270's since the early 80's....

We loaded the 117g Hammer Hunter with RL26.

I've got great results with the 110gr pills in my savage overwatch chambered in 270 Win. I dropped a nice 9pt WTD last fall with a 110gr Barnes pill. It's a great bush rifle as it's relatively light with a 20" pencil barrel.

I would recommend an all-copper bullet if you plan on shooting deer or antelope.
And the 110 all-coppers are good choices in .277".

My wife has taken two deer with a 110gnTTSX, 270Win, at 3400fps, with exits because of all-copper!
The Hammers at 116 (Absolute) and 117 (Hunter, actually 118grain) can get close to that speed because of their low engraving pressure.
