Hello Group
So like my title says does anyone have any experience loading for the .270 WSM?
Any info will be appreciated.

Thank you.

Forrest

I'm having good luck with the Nosler 150 grain Ballistic Tips and Retumbo. 68.0 grains is giving me around 3000 FPS and accuracy in the .3 to .5 moa range. What kind of gun do you have, and what do you want to shoot with it?

I have a 26 " STS barreled Remington CDL that I'll be changing over to a Magpul 700
Hunter stock and for optics a NFS but I have plenty of WW brass and I have the primers and powder just would like to hear what has worked and what hasn't! I'll be using this for mulies, antelope and the like .

I love the 129 LRX and RL17 . I shot that combo in a T3 at 3430 Fps and it would shoot 0.5" at 200 yards . RL26 is supposed to give good speeds in the 270 wsm.

I've got two 270 WSM's one is a Kimber Montana and the other a Tikka T3 Lite. Both shoot a 150 gr Sierra SPBT into 1/2 to 3/4 inch (3 shot groups) using IMR4350. Both also shoot Barnes 110 TSX Tipped bullets into 1/2 inch (again 3 shot groups) using H-1000. Neither rifle will go under 1 inch using any 130 gr or 140 gr bullet I've tried using various powders. Maybe coincidence but I really wanted to find 140 gr loads for both rifles and I tried extensive loads in both but no luck!

I have M70 SA 24" Pencil BBL all factory except the bedding shooting 59.5 GR IMR 4350 CCI 250 and Sierra 140 Gr about 2900 FPS 0.2 hole at 100 Yds and 0.75 at 200 Yds. My best ever pawn shop find, I got less than $600 in it, stock was pretty beat up and some bluing missing on the BBL, I've got $4,000.00 rifles that don't shot as good.
I'd rather be lucky than good!
