I appreciate the sitrep; I find the subject matter very interesting, as you can see, reloading information is a bit of a hobby with me, as is reloading itself. That's one side of my reloading area; the dies are two deep, so I really am interested in your information. Cheer's 🫡

Example from XXL Reloading: 30 Nosler, Hornady GMX 180gr, 78.2gr Winchester Staball
97% case fill, velocity of 2953fps, 47.5k pressure which is only 73% of maximum. I don't get it?!?
For your example, using the components listed, it's about as far as you can go with them.
You're getting 97% case fill. If I remember correctly, the Hornady GMX is a monolithic bullet.
Monolithic bullets are longer for weight compared to a cup & core (jacketed lead) bullet.

Add to that, many monolithic bullet manufacturers suggest STARTING at 0.050" off of the lands. Meaning your COAL is shorter. Meaning that more of the bullet is pushed back into the casing, decreasing the volume of powder capacity.

So in otherwords, with that bullet and that powder in that casing, if you were to try to put more powder in, you would probably be starting to compress the powder.
Not always a bad thing.
But once you start crunching the powder, things change.
And not in a good way.

If you really want to use that bullet, I'd suggest a different powder!
