I have a model 700 22-250 and it is 18 years old. I got my reloading "stuff" last week and I have been loading up a storm! I've found that 37-37.5 grains of H380 and a 50 grain V-Max will shoot 1/2 to 3/4 inch groups. Feels good to accomplish something
AND......I have taken the advice of several people on this site and the 300 RUM is at the shop now getting a trigger job and a new stock. Before I took it, I got 3/4 inch groups with 180 Accubonds and 91 grs of RL 25. Thanks for the help. I hope to improve on this even more. (what an expensive hobby!
