I suspect that the plastic "mattel" stock has a bit of flex…..and having the Pachmyar Decellerator on it certainly helps mitigate "felt" recoil!

This is probably a ridiculous question, but……how do either of those stocks compayin weight to the Winchester "mattel" stock of the mid-'90's.
For years, I've wanted to upgrade the stock on my wife's rifle…..she didn't want to spend the money. While I wanted to upgrade her stock for improved accuracy!
A little perplexing! But, I haven't totally given up wanting to upgrade the stock…..don't want to add additional weight! memtb

Just guess'n …..but scoped, loaded, with sling should put it around 9.5 to 10 pounds!
Portable, and recoil would be pretty impressive, without a brake…..but not unbearable! memtb
