I have a Nosler Mountain Carbon in 28 Nosler with Tally lightweight rings already attached. Any suggestions for a lighter & reliable long range scope with turrets I can dial?

Both of the scopes you have are in the ~25 ounce range. When you say they are a bit heavy, I am going to assume (always a dangerous thing) that 2-3 ounces is irrelevant and you want want be under 20 oz and that doesn't mean 19.5. When you say long range, I am going to also assume (again dangerous on my part) you are talking 600 at minimum and functional out to 800+ for many of us that would be a 12x minimum and 14 would be better (yes, I know lot's of people shoot to 1000 yards with 10 power but shooting at 12" gong at 750 yards on 9 power is not something I prefer to do).

In summary, scopes that meet all your parameters including budget with very good quality glass are close to non-existent. I have researched this quite a bit.

This Burris:

and this Leupold:

but I would describe these as good glass not very good or excellent glass. If you are willing to go up in price and up in weight, you will have more options. For example this SWFA is 20.8 ounces: https://swfa.com/collections/swfa-ss-gen-2/products/ss-16x42-30mm-moa-v2-gen-2-zero-stop

The above is jut my opinion others will have different views.

You have a premium rifle and a junk scope budget. Honestly I think you have your priorities way off....

Aligning here...90% of experienced shooters and hunters will tell you the glass and scope are more important that the rifle...everyone has a budget and you are cutting your rifle off at the knees by putting awful glass on it. Reconsider the buy once, cry once perspective

What is your Max distance. You can find Swarovski Z5 at a reasonable price, most are vary lite weight. great glass.
