Let's see your Varmint rifles !

Just wanna bring this back to the top, I love seeing everyone's varmint guns. I'm sure someone here's bought a new one recently!

Remington 700 243win Hart barrel 1-7 twist 115 vld 6.5-20X Leupold 638 yards

This is a new rifle I put together for varmints. It has a Colt LE 6920 M4 lower with a Geissele SSA-E trigger and a White Oak Armament 18" Varmint upper with a 1 in 7" twist that WOA fluted for me to save a little weight. It shoots 65 grain Sierra Game Kings like the target in the picture and 69 grain Match Kings about 3/8" five shot groups at 100 yards. I put a Bushnell Tactical AR/223 scope with 4.5-18x40mm scope which functions flawlessly. Cabala's has it on sale right now.

22-250 Ai. 26" Lilja 1-12 twist, Mack Brothers Varminter 2.0 can.

I have 2 at this time.

The 22-250. 17.5" Savage varmint barrel over my best crochety walnut at 3.5" wide.

And the 243. 18" McGowen barrel set in laminated cocobolo. 5" wide for bechrest.



Unfortunately, neither has been out hunting yet do to an annoying little shadow on my MRI my doctor doesn't like, but soon, I hope. I handmade these stocks and devcon bedded them all.

By the way, should you be interested in expanding your difficulty level, try varmint pistol hunting. These are for sale due to illness.

those stocks look very good nice job, hope all goes well with doc.

Shooting off of my truck I like alot because I'm mobile, the bench is nice also.

my new ELR squeeze .... 6.5 creedmoor rem 783 action and stock 24" medium wt bbl, 2.3# trigger set, MMB beast brake, SWFA 16x42, boyd's at-1 stock, ccop bipod. handloads: starline brass, hornady 140 eld-match, h4350, fed match primers. a 28" s/s MTU criterion barrel is on the way.

Definitely a nice set up, I've debated on getting a 6.5 but that's around the corner for me. I have to get out and shoot the one I got.

from my perspective, the 6.5cm is everything it's hyped up to be ... and then some.

Bad pic but the 6.5Grendel has been tearing up prarie dogs, a coyote and 4 antalope.



The old Colt HBar got a couple of modes and a paint job.



The little 20PPC almost takes the fun out of hitting prairie dogs.......almost ;-)



The Tikka altralite in 30-06 even gets a varmint



Not a rifle but the SRH in 454 casull gets one now and then. Took 5 shots but it put down th3 only porcupine I've ever got



Even the 1911 gets inthe action

Definitely nice. Iv never takin a pic of a pistol kill of a varmint. Ive used a ruger mk2 bull barrel 22lr on some close up shots.

My new varmint rifle I'll take to wyoming for prairie dogs . Bergara Premier Ridgeback 6.5 PRC .
