The n570 and lapua brass shortage is definitely a usa issue

What's everyone using the VV570 for that it is so sought after, 300 Norma?

From what I've gathered it's the powder that many have to resort to in order to net the 75-100fps over the next smaller caliber even if it brings with it inherit issues. Usually occurs after making the decision on a certain overbore chambering based on the extra 75-100fps.

I use N570 in my 6.5 Sherman and Also used it in a 22-284. 140 bergers out of the Sherman maxed out at 3339 fps out of a 28" barrel. 80 gr bergers at 3600 fps out of the 22-284. Haven't tried it with 215's out of the 300 Win Mag because my H1000 load shoots so good.

It works great in a lot of chambering. Very large cernals. Burns hot so burns throats up faster. But is pretty temp stable and can get 75-100 FPS without pressure.

So I am just south of Winnepeg stationed at Grand Forks AFB. Anyone know of a place fairly close I could pick up some N570? The cabelas doesn't carry it.

Wyorich you could try Hi Pro Precision in Brandon Manitoba. I've bought 570 there before. Bit of a drive from GF though. Could be close to 5 hrs. They don't have the best website. But you could call them. Joe Brook is another place to try in Brandon. Don't know if they stock Vitavouri powders though.

Much appreciated. Yeah that's a bit of a drive. But if I get really hard up for some at least I have options. Thanks again!

In case I get accused of trolling I am not. I have a 28 Nosler and I am curious what VV-570 is giving people in cases where powders of the burn rate of Retumbo, RL-33, and Ramshot LRT, would be used.
