.25 cal 131g .330G7 bullet from Blackjack Bullets for you to drool on ...

Wow, that's a smoking deal.
Tell yo friends. Tell everyone, lol.

We want to do everything we can to get blanks at all price levels to different market segments. These barrels do shoot good and will definitely make a great coyote/hunting rig in 25 Creedmoor, 257 Roberts, or 25-06 AI.

Have you chambered any of the Excaliber barrels and how are they?

Steve

We have chambered two - the 25x47 and 25 Creedmoor test rifles. The 25 Creedmoor machined as good as could be asked for. I was not present for the second barrel chambered but they both shoot very well. We primarily performed latter testing at 550 yards with these rifles after our 1000 yd BC testing and multiple charge weights showed 2-2.5" groups at that moderate range. I have shot the 25 Creedmoor out to 1300 yards with good accuracy and of course good Elevation prediction since our BC testing is about as accurate as it gets. Every rifling type, groove count, and twist rate will yield slightly different numbers but we know for sure the tested BC's work great in 1:7" 6-groove and 1:7.75" 5R, so any variation in-between will be minimal.

Of course there is a market segment that will always prefer to spend big cheddar on Bartlein, Krieger, Blake Barrel or whomever but there is no doubt more affordable blanks can still shoot very well too!

X-Caliber does have a Satisfaction Guarantee and will work with a customer if they believe something is wrong with a barrel.

I figure I'll get the barrel and bullets about the same time I get my Nucleus action from American Rifle Company that should have been delivered back in April! :D

I always add 2-4 months extra to the quoted delivery times for anything in the firearms industry. Then I'm only a little surprised when it takes 6 months longer than I was quoted. Cough, cough, Benchmark barrels......

I ordered a 7.25 twist .257 cal barrel from Rock Creek Barrels a couple weeks ago and it shipped out the other day, should be here on Monday, the 257 Laser reamer will take some time though

We're still waiting on bullets and barrels to be delivered.

Any word on delivery dates?
Hopefully soon. I was told two weeks for bullets in early June. It's almost half way through August now.

I've been run and gunning 24/7 for a few weeks but the bullets are in the machines being made right now as I have told some of the folks that have contacted me directly by phone or facebook.

We took delivery of 100 X-Caliber Blanks last week & the Lilja Blanks and Bartlein blanks are ready as well and will begin shipping next week.

There is also 3 blanks left in Cut-Rifle Rock Creek blanks for magnum 25 caliber cartridges using 1:8" twist over 3200 fps - You get to pick your contour and these will be ready within 2-3 weeks! That's a great thing for the 25-06 through 257 WBY guys that have been waiting for a chance to pickup a 1:8" blank!

Like I said, the bullets are in the machines right now. It's a great feeling to know they will be heading out to our customers as soon as we receive them.

Please contact me directly by PM so I will get an E-mail notification while I'm busy and I will respond ASAP.

If you'd like one of the 1:8" blanks we have remaining please contact me here through PM and we will work out your contour preference and payment info. That price information is available on our facebook page but I can discuss that through PM as well.

Thanks for your patience. We are chomping at the bit and ready to win some matches and go on some hunts as soon as we can!

I've had a lot of comments from the pictures below that this is probably the most 25 Caliber fast twist blanks to ever be in one-spot lol. 100 X-Caliber 1:7" twist. Check the website for contour availability. These will ship immediately!
