I'm going to be loading the following calibers. Listed are the options of available brass for each. Which would you use and why it or why not the others? Thanks

220 Swift
Remington
Winchester
Norma

300 Win Mag
Remington
Winchester
Nosler
Norma
Hornady

I am a LONG way away from being a expert
I only use winchester brass and primers they work good for me
I have not had any problems long brass life ect
I only use moderate loads usually about middle of the load data

Norma for both.......because its your money not mine.:D:D:D

Seriously though, since you can't get Lapua in either, Norma is the best on both lists. Better quality and consistencey.

Same preference. I buy Lapua first if available and Norma if it's not. I'm not so sure it's not cheaper in the long run to buy the best first and avoid the endless sorting and waste in many of the other brands.

Norma for both...
I used nosler and hated it...winchester is ok for basic use and remington is like a shiny turd. But this is JMHO.:D

I may be wrong but if you look hard enough you may be able to find some Lapua for the Win Mag floating around somewhere.

Oh yeah...how many reloads do you guys think I should get out of each of the 300 WM and the 220 Swift? Assuming I'm not running loads with high pressures.

I would go Lapua if they still made it. After that- RWS.

RWS brass is very consistant by weight and neck thickness, as is lapua. Some folks claim it is as good as lapua.

It depends on the quality of your brass, your chamber and your load. When resizing, PFL resize headspacing on the shoulder, not the belt.

Well i'm going with Norma 220 brass and RWS 300 brass. thanks for the input guys! anyone else have any input on brass life?
