That also might be a sign the circulation in ur foot is on borrowed time!!That would do it! I can actually hold a weed chopper fence in one hand and with my bare foot held near grass watch the arc run from my toe to the grass. It's a gift!. I get bored sometimes. Actually a dear old black man and family friend that worked at the hog farm with us taught me how to do that when we were checking fence. It wasn't one of those Lord Calvert learning sessions I have frequently. But. Those weed chopper fences are pretty intense.
Those strays that have had it rough before they came to you and you were good to them make some mighty good pets if they don't have bad conduct issues. They've been on the other side. They know when and where they have it good.I keep a little 22 revolver loaded with Rat shot for welcoming unwanted dogs. It goes to the deer stand with me also. Unfortunately, my road is only a few miles out of town and a popular place for dumping off animals. Almost all of the dogs and cats we've had in the last 25yrs have started out as strays that someone dropped off, including the ones we have now.
If they're friendly, I've either adopted them or found them a home. The local humane society is always full. I've called them dozens of times over the years and always get the same answer: no room right now.
Feral cats and dogs that I can't catch or trap get the .308 sleeping pill. If it has a collar it gets it's rear end scratched with #12.
Possible, but I've been doing that since I was around 14 years old! That also might be a sign the circulation in ur foot is on borrowed time!!
Same here in Iowa, Gene! I have shot them on and off duty. Most were feral dogs but others we had orders to shoot also.Dogs running deer in Pa have a short life span.
Shoot the dogs and drop them off in the owners driveway. Then give him a bill for the calf.Same here in Iowa, Gene! I have shot them on and off duty. Most were feral dogs but others we had orders to shoot also.
When I was raising cattle I shot two that came from a house near one of my feedlots. I gave the dog owners numerous warnings but then I caught the two dogs killing one of my big feeder calves and I had to put the calf down. Yes, I shot both dogs.![]()
