Now, I know this is controversial to an extent, but here me out. In October my brother, cousin and I purchased an 11.5 acre plot of land. Decent amount of deer on the cameras and a couple bucks, no other wildlife really other than a raccoon. We built a $25 watering hole near our greenfield and within' two weeks we had a couple hundred pictures of new deer as well as our existing deer, a bobcat, and other wildlife drinking from the watering hole.
In my opinion this is truly the best investment for some great attractant for your deer and other wildlife if you don't have a water source on your hunting property.
You can watch the full video of how we constructed the watering hole here:
Let me know if you decide to try it out.
