Manners MCS-PH any feedback?

Does the pic rail up front have a flush cup? Debating ordering one and just having flush cups on the left side or possibly just one on the bottom rear.

Debating replacing a AG Composites Alpine Hunter with the PH.

Yes the rail has a flush cup.

I have never handled a ag alpine hunter so I'm no help with that choice.

For those with the mini chassis. Is it worth the upgrade? I like the idea of not having to bed it, in case I want to use it on a different action later on.
Also, anyone know of a Black Friday deal on them?

How's the cheek weld? High enough to not miss having an adjustable comb?

For me it is good to go as well.

I like it, makes swapping out actions etc a breeze and the weight penalty is pretty minimal. If I am buying a Manners stock then mini chassis is a must for me. If you decide to get rid of the stock it makes reselling them a lot easier as well.

I don't know of anyone doing deals on Manners stocks, but Altus has had a steady flow of them and even Manners typically has a few on their website.

This is more of an observation and a FYSA for anyone reading this, but the PH rail does only accept clamping style bipods. I tried it with a MTN gear bipod and the end of the rail is oversized so nothing can slide onto it. The rear is the same way as I tried uninstalling the rail and seeing if I could put the bipod on from the back and then reinstall it but that didn't work. Probably my one critique of the PH, I know its relatively minor but I was a bit disappointed that my $400 bipod didn't fit.

Yes, the pic rail has a flush cup.
I added 1 flush cup on the bottom rear
I've had the AG Alpine Hunter, one of my favorites. I went to the MCS PH over the Alpine on my recent build.
Preliminary thoughts are I like it better.
The PH is lighter, ridged stock, fits me well, better integrated rails, & much better fit & finish. I really like the molded in color & texture grip panel. Nice comb height, forearm finger grooves. Nice grip size, & thumb rest is nice feature. Comfortable.

Does anyone know what the comb height is? When I called Manners to buy one I was told it's the same as the EH1.

That is the feedback I wanted to hear. I replaced the Alpine Hunter on my APR 280 Ackley with the LRH, so now I am going to order a PH for the 6.5 Creedmoor APR, the only possible issue is it has a Sendero Lite contour barrel.

I am going to set aside the Alpine Hunter for a build on an Aero Solus since weight won't be an issue with that rifle. Possibly going to be a switch barrel setup.

Maybe trim down the front of the pic rail? A pain for sure but I bet you can get it to work.

Here is how my rugged ridge bipod mounts:

Figured I would share this here. Manners I am fairly certain said that Wyatts Extended box mags won't fit in the mini chassis. Nonsense! Granted I needed my my 3 axis to get this perfect, but it can be done with a belt sander and hand files. The box does only hold 2 rounds because it's trimmed down a fair amount, but 2 in the chamber and 1 in the pipe of 300 prc should have me pretty well covered. 3.830 coal limitation is welcomed!

This was back in April or something so I just ended up selling the MtnGear and ordering another Audere. I did screw up the rail trying to make it work and had to order a new one from Manners.
