Best case lube!

I switched to STP years ago and prob have enough in one bottle for 50 reloaders to use! Never even hint of brass sticking in a die.

Back in the '60s and drag racing days, we used 50/50 with gear oil and never had a gear problem. Then in the '70s I used it in a worm gear after it failed. Never had to replace one again.

Thanks for the reminder.

Interesting web site and products at Corbin. The purchasing is a bit odd. One of my past times is testing bore cleaners and I will have to try Corbin since I've never heard of them before. Thanks for sharing.

Interesting. I saw a tin of Hornady sizing wax and picked it up. Had never tried it. Opened the tin and the scent of STP jumped out at me. It sure smells like STP in wax. Smelled a lot of it during my years in the 70's rebuilding engines. Richard Petty apparently sold a lot of it. Internals looked like they were dipped in stiff honey

This is what I use - just a little bit on the fingers, rub it on - works great. I dislike those sticky waxes and ultra-heavy oils. To clean it off: a little brake cleaner on an old towel, roll 'em around and I'm done.

I like the Hornady unique if just sizing brass. If trying to modify brass like 30-30 down to 25-35 I have noticed that lee works a lot better and probably any industrial die lube would work better. Tried the spray on stuff don't like all that crap going into the air and breathing it.
I just don't see the point in making my own concoction
When a jar of unique last me at least 10 yrs if I just put a dab on my finger tip. Wash brass off with white vinegar and hot soapy water and put in cheap food dehydrator for a hour or so.
