Whats your most difficult shooting skill to master?

Adrenaline rush when I am the spotter for someone else's hunt. I get the shakes so bad I can barely work my LRF for them.

But not when I am the one behind the gun. So weird.

So I put together a double mount in preparation for pronghorn season, since I always carry my 15s on a tripod.
15s and an LRF on one tripod. I have them aligned.

It can double as a rifle and LRF mount too.

I can swap sides for the rifle/LRF set up if needed.

Nice. How much does it weigh, all in? (Minus gun, plus binoculars and lrf)

Like most on here, reading the wind, but also convincing some of my relatives to get closer to the game before pulling the trigger because of the effect (outlined already in this thread) of the topography on wind here in the Rocky Mountains. Since I enjoy our hunting trips, that's a delicate dance/skill I'm still working on because normally I'm blunt and would just tell them they were dumb for trying that long of a shot for the conditions. They don't practice at long range as much as I do, in fact they don't even shoot as much as I do period, and I rarely shoot a game animal past 500 yards even though I practice regularly beyond that distance.

Seems easier to master all aspects of shooting when you are young. One of our juniors at Perry posted this score on the 3rd day of CMP Cup matches. Frank Green, Bartlein Barrels, donated the blank. I spun the barrel. She got a free barrel, but she made us all proud of her accomplishment.

Shooting 99% standing with 8 Xs (3 inch ring) is beyond outstanding. 797/800 across the course shows mastery of marksmanship fundamentals.

Also shows mastery of nerves - I have a lot of trophies on the fireplace mantel in PHX but it took a while to master the nerves problem - and standing was worst. Competitive shooting does cure buck fever however.
