Why don't I experience the donut problem?

I fl size every time. I use some kind in die expander. I've tried not expanding and expanding in a separate die, but find same runout as using in the die expander.

I neck turn 300 WS…..really 300 WSM is probably where I have the most cycles on brass and should see it.

I'm excluding my 6PPC as I don't have enough experience there yet.

I don't either, but I do not size the entire length of the neck.
I do not use bushing dies anymore either.
I use honed neck dies and modified expanders then mandrels for final IF size.
My brass necks only get sized .003" max from fired dimension, this is also taking spring back into that figure.
I have just spent this weekend forming 7RM brass into 264WM brass… necks needed turning, but I'm going to hold off doing so until I get one firing on them and I can see how much I will need to take off.
The only brass I get donuts on are when I size up 30-06 to 338-06, but it gets ironed out on the first firing and poses no issue after that.

Cheers.

Yea, on 300 WSM, I own a bushing die, but the Forster FL die is a perfect fit, so I don't use the bushing die. Runout was better too.

Bushing dies do not 'cause' donut issues.
And truly, donut area brass is not an issue until it's sized, or seated into.
This is true, but I found bushings to give me runout issues if used alone.
Maybe because I used FL bushing dies instead of Neck only and a body die. I don't know, I didn't experiment. I still use body dies on some brass, just not all of my brass.

Cheers.
