Savage ultralight 110

Yep! As well as considering a faster burn rate powder.
I've tried R-26 , Super, staball, i-4350 and H4350. I did the berger seat test with the H4350 but also tried all the others at the seating depth that gave me the best accuracy. Ive burnt a tank and half gas running back and forth

You need to slow down and re-visit your reloading process and your rifle set-up. Load development is not a race.

Who said it was a race? I've spent 3 days loading and testing. Not a race I'm just not not one to try a load and put the gun up and come back a week later and try something else. To each his own

It sounds like you have an answer to everything and do not need any of our help. Press on then.

We do not even know what your ES or SD.

I did the "hunting " load work up but didn't seem to make much diffrence. Although they did seem to shoot a little better up close. I think I'm going to try seating them at the lands just to see if it makes a big change. Other than that I believe it's about time to bed and poss trash the bergers ?
It's not necessarily odd when Berger's don't shoot in certain barrels. If bedding isn't the issue and you run out of options, there's lots of good LR bullets out there for the 6.5, keep experimenting.

Oh yes for sure not giving up on it anytime soon. Unfortunately this is a crappy time for being able to get more bullets.

I've got one of these in 6.5 Creedmoor and and B&C stock. Not having a ton of luck with the heavier 140-143 grain ammo. Tried some 120 grain sst and gmx and it seems to like it better. Any reason I shouldn't be seeing decent groups from Hornady match or precision hunter in the heavier weights?

For whatever reason my 308 shot 155s a lot better than a 168. What model B&C did you put on? I ended up put the M40 on mine and bedded it. That made a world of difference in handling and accuracy.

My personal experience with Savage rifles is that they respond better to floating the tang area of the receiver , the rear action screw is in front of that. I always float that area before I shoot them with good success. Do some searches. Good luck with the rifle. Hope to have one myself soon.

I've got a Savage Tactical short action accustock on the way for mine. I'm willing to have the rifle a touch heavier but have that aluminum bedding block that's in the accustock. This accufit stock flexes the worst of any stock I've had and I've had my share of el cheapo stocks.

It took around 125 rounds for my barrel to finally settle in. I've found a load running berger 140EH .005 off with R-26 that's producing 5 shot groups at 200 yards just a touch over 1/2 moa. I will consistently get 1 or 2 out of a group that will throw it over 1/2 moa. But 3 of 5 are normally same hole. I'm hoping a good aluminum bedded stock is going to cut those flyers down.

Looking into buying a new Savage ultralight 110 in 6.5cm. Anyone running one on here?here? few reviews on YouTube but not much that I can find on the accuracy. I would expect a blueprinted action with a proof barrel to be able to print 1/2-3/8moa groups fairly easy with a good load
Im selling a 6.5 prc ultralite..shot less than 75 rounds through it. Comes with a 20 moa rail and 100 pieces of brass text me at 9156301140 if your interested.
