UPDATED with new video

Update #2: took out a base load of 270eldx with 90gr h1000 and did 3 groups at 500. Got the accuracy back

Started to lose accuracy in the last 100 rounds and decided to check out the barrel. I took one video of the entire bore from muzzle to chamber and another video of just the crown to show erosion. A recrown is in order and I'll post results. Let me know if you guys see anything. Thanks

Here is after the recrown and cleaning

I would not touch anything mechanically until you scrub the barrel down to metal. You have copper fouling(which may or may not cause problems) and a carbon ring which can cause problems for sure. I have seen worse shape barrels shoot very well so I doubt your barrel is done. Borescopes can be a blessing and a curse.

The crown won't erode but you definitely have copper fouling! Try cleaning out the copper and see if accuracy comes back.
Throat has some fire cracking which is no surprise.
Definitely copper fouling, but I would love to know how to get every bit out of there! I use montana extreme, sweets, shooters choice. Used SC then Montana Extreme on it tonight before attacking the carbon with a bronze brush and top engine cleaner.

Crown wont erode? Sure looked like erosion to me. I threw it in the lathe and recrowned it anyway. We'll see on paper if the groups tighten up.

Too late :) How do you get yours down to bare metal. I have always heard it, but have never been able to get it down to bare metal. Borescope always show some copper for me

I like Boretech products. I still experiment with cleaning. I have not had any copper issues with good barrels. Some barrels like savage are more prone to copper but it has never affected accuracy for me. I have used wipeout with pretty good success as well.

I thought brux were good barrels :) I definitely need to find a better way to get everything out

I usually only clean copper only until break in is complete anymore. In fact, I use cleaners that only cut carbon as long as the rifle is shooting well.

I honestly never paid attention until this edge started to lose accuracy. It was ridiculous, but it is getting up in round count and been worked hard up in the hills

As Ryan said, dont count the carbon ring out either. They can really cause issues and are sometimes difficult to remove.
Ive soaked them in carbon removers a couple days before and rotated a wire brush to get them out.

You're gonna need some Iosso bore cleaner. That'll get everything out. Easy does it.

My Edge is over 1200 rounds with no accuracy degradation.

You can try JB or Iosso but I have not had great luck with it removing carbon rings. I find a good scrub with a nylon brush and C4 and or Seafoam works best.
