.25 cal 131g .330G7 bullet from Blackjack Bullets for you to drool on ...

What kind of powder have you guys been using with a 25-06AI. Mine should be done in about 2 months and trying to piece together the rest of the supplies for it. It is a 7 twist so it should stabilize the 131, correct me if I am wrong. Thanks in advance!

use a good slow burning magnum powder. I use IMR8133 and H1000 in my 25-06. Retumbo or RL26 would also be excellent choices. With the 7 twist you'll be fine, maybe on the edge of spinning too fast if you really lean on the AI. Sounds like a good LR build

flyinstroke, what elevation are you typically using, for a 1-7 twist?

1:7" is indeed fast but it will work.

I prefer Retumbo as #1 in 25-06 in my testing.

3170 - 3225 fps in 26.5" (Lapua Brass) so the AI should add a bit more.

Even at 3175 - 3225 fps, it's nothing to mess around with.

I will do the AI next time when this barrel is toast. I have 360 rounds on it so far.

The local gun shop has some Retumbo. I was considering it or H1000. The 1000 and RL 26 have been hard to find. Looks like Retumbo it is

Even in the middle of these windows the 25 caliber version of the 6.5 parent will out perform them in Wind, Drop, and Energy.

We have reamers for all of the above except 25 BR and 25-06. 25 BRA reamers coming soon.

Are you using stock Wby freebore on the 257 Wby chambers? If not...what is the length of your recommended throat?

Thanks...
