I live in Clyde Texas USA. I have land in Cross Plains area and hunt and shoot there, terrain limits me to 500. There is a nice range in Santo Texas, that would be pretty close for you.

In Dallas- heard good things about Triple C but haven't been. Been to ETTS- easy to get to but gets BUSY. Used their pistol bays but not the LR set up. There are some specific qualification standards which is good!

While I am still up here in Illinois, I have a house in Rockport and a couple acres in Aransas Pass where we will be building our final (I hope), house in a couple years.

How busy is the place? Hard to get a lane to shoot on Saturdays?

I've mostly been on Fridays and Saturdays. I've never seen it busy on Fridays and even on Saturdays of the 9 approx 1,000 yard range lanes I've probably only ever seen 6 full. Each lane has steel and they're different sizes (2 MoA, 4 MoA, etc) and the thing I really like is the lanes are about 30 to 50 ft apart so you have a little space. You can also back your vehicle up to each shooting table.

Just south of Kerrville. Hill Country Shooting Sports range goes as far a 500 yards. A bit of a drive for you, but hey, who doesn't love coming to the Hill Country?

No. I've been wanting to shoot at CCGC. But need to find some member to sign off on my membership. My long range shooting is done in the valley on some crop fields when they aren't planted.
