Bumpstocks banned

Yup, shooting stars. They generally burn out before having any impact whatsoever. It's really tough to live in a country where a majority opinion rules.

We should really have voted for Hillary Clinton. After all, she'd have protected bump stocks.
what tried to say is look it this with common sense and not emotion. this was a fight not worth having

lol.
but the very idea of a constitutional republic is that a written set of laws protects minority rights from the abuses of the majority. Ie, the 2nd Amendment.
A true democracy would allow 50.001 % of the population to throw away the rights and protections of the other 49% on any whim.... which is why our founding fathers hated that idea so much.

Tell us your better option. Which country does it in the manner we should follow? Which country can defend themselves independently of any other nation on earth, and has the better form of government?

Your opinion is everyone should agree to support legalization of bumpstocks, but dismantle the NRA? Good idea. Hilariously funny.
No, now your twisting it. I think the Hughes Amendment and the NFA should be abolished. Bumpstocks are garbage...I don't own one, and never have. No desire. If I want full-auto fire, I'll go buy a legal transferrable.

The NRA can do what it wants, but they have SO much power and influence that they have impacted our rights. I don't know if I feel they should be abolished or not, but I do feel that people need to wake up to all the **** they've pulled right under everyone's noses.

lol. what?
there was never a better form of government than what our founding fathers created. I have no criticism of them, but plenty of criticism of the America-hating globalists who are taking over government now and transforming it into a hot mess of statist socialism.

BTW, they cannot outlaw binary triggers without also outlawing pull/release triggers on $40k over and under shotguns. Then they will **** off a whole new class of people, with money. Pass the popcorn.
they can outlaw anything if this passes--- if they can redefine a bumpstock, then they can redefine any pull/release/binary trigger also, or anything they want to "re-define"--as others said this isn't really about bumpstocks

Been trying to make that point for four pages. But "Passes" sin't the word. This is not legislation. It is rewriting legislation by the ATF. Only the Courts, Likely the Supreme Court can stop this.

That kind of thinking has allowed them to degrade many of our rights stated in the Bill of Rights. Not my fight. When it is something really dear to your heart who will be left to stand beside you? They are masters at this game, I remember a lesson from History. Hope I get the quote right without looking it up. "We will hang together or surely we will all Hang Separately" If that's not verbatim its close. Been a long time since school.

We must, indeed, all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately. - Ben Franklin to members of the Continental Congress, July 4, 1776

Like I said, close.

I just don't really care about this. I don't own a bumpstock, never will. If I want full auto fire, I'll pony up and do it the legal way. I don't think anyone needs to own a bumpstock. If they want full auto fire, acquire it the right way. That being said, I don't think the gubbermint needs to be in the business of outlawing such foolishness. I think we should look into the true cause of these mass shootings. The bumpstock, however, is not the hill that I want to die on.

Then look no further than the deep state globalist elites that are in our own government.
