I have a Remington .223 that shoots fantastic" it also shoots like crap! there are only two
loads that my rifle loves, and I get the best accuracy. My older brother and my self built this
Rifle in his shop. it is tight, it is better than blue printed. We selected a Lilja Barrel, changed the
bolt handle, HS Precision stock with a 8x32 Burris Scope.
She loves Hodgden 322 with 24grs and a 50gr V-MAX.
The second load she loves, is Hodgden 335 with 26.6grs. also with with the 50gr V-MAX.

Can you share with us your majic recipe?

25.3 grs Varget, CCI BR-4, 69 gr Sierra Match King, OAL 2.260 and I use a Lee Factory Crimp Die.

Max load of Benchmark and 52 grain A-Max. Itty bitty groups and wicked performance on varmits.

berger 55 varmint, 25 grains of benchmark, fed 205 primer , 2.230 oal , 3075 fps
shoots under 1/2 moa and best 5 shot group .285.

sierra 69 smk , 25.3 varget, fed 205, 2.345 oal , 2830 fps, Stays well under 1/2"
best group .199

RRA predator pursuit.

25.3 grains of Varget and a 69 grain Lapua Scenar. In my 1-8 twist barrel Rock River Arms, it sends three bullets into the same hole.gun)

What is your barrel twist? My Kimber Longmaster Classic with a 1:9 twist is very finicky about bullets. 45 grains and less, 63 grains and higher, are the bullets it will shoot well. 50-62 grain bullets don't shoot worth a darn in my gun and I have tried countless combinations of primers, powder, brass, and seating depths. It just doesn't like the middle weight stuff so I could relate to your comments about having good and bad loads.

33 gr Vmax moly 15 gr Blue Dot 2.17"

This shoots well in 22LR barrel re chambered for 223 with 16" twist.
$30 barrel $50 action, sub moa rifle for $80 + optics

This also shoots well in 14" twist.

Great for targets at 100yards, and rodents up to 200 yards.
The barrel stays cool and clean.

Will not cycle ARs, so I use in bolt actions and Ruger #1s.

Data 2200 powder, 450 CCI primer and a 55 SPSX does a great job inside of 300 yards. Tac, 400 CCI primer and 40 Vmaxes works very well. Heck even IMR 3031 does a good job as long as you dont run it over a crony.
