We have had some terrible storms here last couple weeks. Lost power for almost 3 days last week. Never saw so many trees down nor so many utility poles snapped in half.

Neighbor farmer sent me this pic of large tree smashed and dropped onto field.

A deer was tangled up in the mess. Even they can be in "wrong place wrong time"!

Mother Nature has definitely been showing her teeth this year. I guess it happens most every year to a certain extent, but the hits just seem to keep coming this year. I keep staring at some dead trees in the wood line near my house. I love the trees until I need to figure out how to take them down safely.

Mother Nature has been a Bitch this year.
Easter eve we had a Micro burst blow through at 9pm. Local airport recorded 130 mph winds. Well as my Luck has been this year it came through our front yard where we have enjoyed 100yd old trees averaging 80' tall some 100'.
Tulip popular, Red and Black oak, Maple and Cherry just to name a few. Easter morning we woke up to a unbelievable sight that most of our trees were down.
I believe God put his hand around our house, the trees beside our house were spared.
The pictures from my cell phone doesn't show the full extent of the damage. These are photos of our driveway, it took me 8hrs with 2 chainsaws and my skid loader on Easter Sunday to clear enough so we could get out to the main road.
YES THE WEATHER SUCKS THIS YEAR.
Our high temperatures this Thursday and Friday is only to be mid 50* . Usually it's in the 80*. Have a Great Day. 👍

The last pic is what it was.

WOW & here in south Louisiana its 90 not ready for that S---T
People don't know what OPPRESSIVE HEAT and HUMIDITY is until they visit the Louisiana country…I am choking just thinking about it and when you breath you inhale a mouth full of mosquitoes.

Back in 70's, I spent a month one week in Hammond, LA performing emission survey on a particle board plant in JULY! Even had the pleasure of shutting down to get to safe place as a tornado approached. Roadkills disappeared in couple days from the heat!

OPPRESSIVE not even close description! The ONLY place that might give it a run was Baytown, TX which also had gawd awful chemical smells from refineries and chemical plants. Had to wash clothes every night at hotel!

I've been to the American West and NW twice in the last 10 months.
It wasn't for hunting, it is for plan B.
Tornadoes, tropical crap, not much nice weather period, here.
