I have 3 large safes full of rifles, along with 3 shotguns. My rifles consist of everything from 17HMR to 300 WM in calibers from .22, 6.5mm, 7mm, 30, 35 and 45 and about a half dozen muzzleloaders in 36, 45, 50 and 58 calibers. All these plus maybe 10 handguns of different chamberings.
I have more guns than I know what to do with so why do I keep browsing looking and buying more. I'm an addict too, or should I say a fondness for old lever rifles, especially those with obsolete chamberings. And besides the lever rifles I found myself starting to collect and shoot single shot rifles. I mean I love shooting precision rifles that will shoot the gnats off a flys butt without breaking the skin but those old rifles are dear to my heart. I guess its just the nostalgia thing. Same with a finely made SxS shotgun.
Is there a cure for this addiction or am I going to have to buy another safe?

That sounds like a bad addiction. It's time for some group therapy.. Quit looking at the ads and just go to the range and shoot some groups.
Right now I have to find that thread with some pistols for sale. It's OK, I can quit at any time.
Yeah right. lol.

No cure until you run out of money or have your husband/wife leave you. My FIL has bought and sold over 1,000 firearms. He is a true addict. Really pees me off when he buys a fine firearm and tells me that he is keeping this "One". I tell him to notify me if he does want to sell. He never does and sells of trades it.
Maybe for the best so that I don't keep adding to our collection.
We have many firearms that we never shot---just want to look at them if they are a classic or rare!

We could use you to cut some big pine trees next to our home!!!
I would love to... it's a bit of a drive to Georgia from Oregon though. I've played with some big ones...when the helicopter can't pick them up and you can't buck them any shorter, then the ripping begins
