Why suppressors should not be on NFA list

This is an old story, but it is a good one. I think we should try to get this out to as many congressmen and senators as possible, especially Senator Gillibrand in N.Y.

A Democrat's guide to why firearm sound suppressors ("silencers") should be made easier to obtain.

We have a similar situation here in Australia, unlike you lucky devils in the U.S. we are not allowed to have one at all, I'd be happy to pay the $200 tax stamp you guys are always complaining about, it would save me having to listen to neighbors whinning everytime I fire ny rifle, or having to wait until the districts school bus run is over before I can shoot without complaint. In the U.K. they have a similar deal to the USA where they pay a fee to have a suppressor and there are strict requirements to granting the permit, i.e. profession vermin controllers etc. The Europeans are more enlightened, they treat NOT using one as a lack of consideration for others and a safety hazard. Cheers Wiz

i totally agree with Mr Australia...the law as it is takes silencer from street gangs and criminals, and it helps responsible citizen to own up.

Well, looks like our speaker of the house sold us out and pulled the new bill that would have removed a lot of the red tape from purchasing a suppressor.

Unbelievable

Paul RHINO is a douchebag anyway. Doesn't surprise me he did that. Call me crazy, but I still believe this was an inside hit job by the left. Everything always goes quiet, until just before they go to pass some pro-gun legislation, then BAM! Another insane lefty goes on a shooting spree. They were fixing to pass the HPA, then the wacko Bernie supporter shoots up congress at a baseball practice. The left pulls the bill off the table for a no-vote. The SHARE Act is supposed to pass, then 2 days before a Clinton supporter (who is a CIA gun-runner, along with some professional hitmen) shoots up a concert in Vegas. And Hillary immediately opens her fat mouth about "what if he had a suppressor" (as if that wasn't completely obvious she was involved)... Ryan shelves the bill for a no-vote.

The left is so evil, depraved, and arrogant, they're doing this stuff right in our faces.

Do NOT give them even 1mm... Because they won't stop there! They won't stop until the 2A is gone, and we are disarmed and helpless. There is no negotiation on pro-gun legislation with the left. They will never give us suppressors, even if we give them a bump-stock ban. They're just evil greedy scumbags that want us all disarmed. We have to fight, and the NRA has proven to be a nutless wimp selling us down the river, for their 30 pieces of Democrat silver, yet again. Lapierre needs to GO!!! The NRA needs a real man who ain't afraid to tell the Dems to shut up, and that we'll NEVER give them even 1 inch!
