Which turkey gun?

From what I have heard you won't be disappointed with the 410 and #9 tss. If I didn't just purchase a Franchi 20 gauge I would be going the 410 route
I have a very bad injury to my right shoulder and cannot shoot right handed any more.....figured when the TSS loads for the 410 came out and the Mossberg with the thumb safety it was a win-win combo for me....
Just need to figure out what to use for sights....have several red dot types sitting on the shelve from large to small....I just hate relying on something that uses a battery....
Wish there was like the same size as a Burris Fullfield sight that used fiber optic not a battery.....also a green dot....

Trijicon makes an RMR that will run off of fiber optic and battery. An amber dot, not a green dot, but they have one. Also you could look into the Holosuns that have the solar and 50k hours of battery life, they do have green dots in those. If you change it every year before the season starts you'll be fine. Personally, I stuck a Burris Fastfire on my 20ga Winchester SXP.

Yes I hate to rely on anything powered by battery but as @chav0_12 mentioned if you change the battery before season you should be good to go.
I'm kind of old school and just use the beads but with being right handed and learning to shoot left hand would be challenging without a scope.

I WAS the same way, but I change the battery out prior to hunting season and so far no issues. I like the DOT devices .

Get holosun 407c it has a solar panel that lights it up even with no battery. I have been running a test on my fast fire 3 with the same battery for 2-3 years with no issue. I do carry a spare with me though.

I like this but when you say solar panel I have a large panel in my mind. How big is this panel and what's the weight?

It's no bigger than a standard reflex red dot. Solar panel is above the lense. They also have some tube type red dots with solar panels (403c) and vortex also makes one the Sparc SolAR so you know if the electronics die they have you covered

Yeah, I have my P365x with the Romeo0 on it for a little more than a year before it died and I never turned it off. I just got the 507K, to put in it and am pretty excited about that change over. I have a buddy with the Sheriff's Department that carries a Trijicon RMR with the auto-dim feature for his duty pistol and he says he changes his battery out once a year. If you're putting it on a turkey gun, for like two months out of the year, and you turn it off before you put it away it'll probably last you many years before having to worry about it. And that's a regular one without a solar panel. I've had my DeltaPoint on my 10mm bear gun, that has shake awake and I haven't changed that battery in 2 years. I probably will before September though.

I also think I'd get the 507 and use the circle reticle for a turkey gun. It'd be about perfect for a turkeys head, I'd think anyway.
