Which scope for a 338 ultra mag

3x9 Swarovski American or 1.5 x 6 Kahles 30 mm tube.I'm interested in ruggedness and clarity.

Thanks Shon,I have thought about Burris,but I've had trouble with thier scopes.i have a 6x signature that I've sent back 4 times to be repaired and its still not holding zero,although thier 1.75 x 5 on a 350 rem mag seems to be doing ok.maybe a 6x black diamond will work. steve

The Swaro has coil springs and the Kahles has leaf springs. Have broken 2 Kahles scopes with my 338 Lapua and 30-378......

Pending on what scope from each you using. The Swaro "A" series has a weak erector assembly and springs whereas the "P" series have a very sturdy erector assembly.

The Kahles "K" or "Amarican Hunter" series has the same weaker erector assembly as the "A" series Swaro's and the Kahles "C" series is very stout.
