I think the flags makes certain easily triggered groups freak out. Basically people want something to complain about.

Agree the military reminded about flag etiquette.
It was only brought up now. I've also heard enough people discuss how much the flag disgusted them on various news outlets.
I'm not tying directly to Biden but more broadly, his administration.

Ok my son is a Marine not just a grunt . He has told me it is a crap show. Now I have worked in different countries and let me tell alot of them I wipe my feet when I left that is putting it nicely . It would change a lot of people's thoughts on how bad they are treated once they seen how bad conditions are there. That being said one of the first things that made me know I was home was old glory waving in the wind
