Went hunting for Elk sheds in the Big Horn Mountains

I took a little trip on my Honda 450 equipped with tracks to try and find some elk sheds. What I found was 19 Bull Elk, 17 with both horns on their head, 1 with one horn and 1 that had shed it antlers.

Ha aha too early as you found out. Where I go in MT may 1 about right, like the week before, but I have had storms with 3 feet snow. It is a fine line, catch them before everyone else or you can blow them out of there area, as I have done.Then hard to find again. Also found many one side only

Love tha ATV set up. A set of tracks is someplace in my future.

That looks like just the machine for such work!!
We tried to slip in behind Casper Mt yesterday but backed out due to snow/mud. We just hit coal mt road for some trigger time and a some brass recovery.
