I just took a look at the BOESHIELD on Amazon. That's got to be the highest rated product I've ever seen listed.

I just took a look at the BOESHIELD on Amazon. That's got to be the highest rated product I've ever seen listed.
I use it - have for years - and it really is THAT good. Amazing stuff.
After trying just about everything, I settled on Clenzoil for metal, wood, and synthetic finishes. Does not harm wood finishes(including oil finishes) and maintains the lubricity of the moving parts when subjected to moisture, carboin, and dust. I will always dry out a gun that has been exposed to water/moisture at the end of the day and re-apply the Clenzoil.
