Vortex Razor HD spotting scope difference

Ive been thinking of upgrading my spotting scope and was considering the Vortex HD in20-60x85 model. However it looks like Votex's latest offering is a 27-60x85. What's all changed in this model besides the low end magnification and focusing controls?

I've had the Gen1 20-60x85mm for a bit and it's great glass. I got it when I helped a buddy out on his desert sheep hunt several years ago. I'm selling it to downsize as it's overkill for backpack hunts.

They are releasing new Viper HD's also, but not available yet. They list a really long eye relief.
