vortex raxoer HD 3.4-18x44

Guys been trying to decide on a new scope for my STW. its at kampfelds right now getting a makeoever and brake. I have looked at leo vx6 3.5-18x44, vortext HS and HS-T and contemplating a swaro but hearing a lot about the vortex razor in the above magnification. Its a hunting rifle not a bench gun but capable of very thight groups. Was leaning toward the vx6 but now not sure. any thoughts? I am concerned with the vortex regarding recoil but then again I have never owned a vortex of anything. thnx

Too many good choices out there sometimes. I have limited but positive experience with the Vortex. Never had to use their warranty, but I'm told it's great.

I've been looking in that same general class of scope. The VX-6 falls out of first occasionally, but always creeps back up. Probably based on emotion more than fact.
