Under $1K Spotting Scope Recommendations

So I am looking for recommendations for a spotting scope. I'll be using it for hunting and shooting. I have been looking at the Leupold SX-4 and Vortex Razor but am open to other brands, models, new or used. I would like to keep it under $1K. Any suggestions are appreciated!

I don't know you can do any better than the razor in the range. I have the small one, 11-33x55, and the clarity is awesome. I had some issues with the eye relief that took a minute to get used to but it is an awesome little scope. I have not noticed the same eye relief issues with either of the bigger razors, they seem to be more forgiving.
