i wanted to know what bullets would be good for a

1-10 twist
22"
in a .243

i think a 87 vmax or a 70 serria

if so would any one have some reload data for both using mabe h414 or 4831 or imr 8208 thanks

I have 1:10 in my .243 started out with 95 to 100 grainers with no luck. First load with 87gr Berger VLD with H4831sc did the trick.

I have a box of 87gn vmaxes unopened that I didn't feel the need to try.

I shoot a sierra 70 grain bthp matchking with 42 grains of 4320 it is very accurate. I have either shot or seen kids shoot prob 50 deer from 25 yards out to 350 yards never seen one move since going to that bullet combination 25 yrs ago.It will cut a groundhog half in two as well. My rifle is a stock 700 rem bdl shoots 1/2 groups at 100 yrds.

all the bullets from 55 t0 100 except the 95 vld. some of the better ones are the 87 vmax and the 85 sierra bthp. varget and . 030 off the lands.
