Thoughts on tensioned barrels?

I think it's a brilliant idea of adding rigidity to a light barrel, I have never shot or handled one however. I'm wanting to try one out but can't get it in the bore/twist I'm after.

What bore/twist are you looking for? I'm considering one of the carbon tensioned blanks made by BSF.

Looking for a 257 cal in a 1:7 or 1:7.25 wanting to build a 25 creedmoor for long range varmint and target. I have a 257 saum in works, but that rifle will be maybe 1500 barrel life, the 25 creed should last another 1k than that.
