I own several handguns for hunting (Freedom Arms in 454, 460 S&W revolver, 500 S&W revolver, Ordnance Tech SSP-91, two Savage Strikers with 6 barrels and a Nosler 48) and found the Nosler M48 Independence for sale around $1500. Mine is in 6.5 Creedmoor and shoots well under MOA. I think $1500 is a great price although I would not consider it cheap, if you are looking for something search online. There are a few places with them on clearance now.

BTW, while browsing there are also a couple of scam websites listing them close to or under $1000 - avoid those. Check Midway, they have two in stock on clearance. I was tempted to buy another one but I can only find 22 Nosler and 6.5 Creedmoor (which I already have).
