Found a good spot to harvest some does at long range. Killed one yesterday at 535 yards. Went back this morning and killed two more. The first was at 580 yards and the second was at 545 yards. Tennessee allows 3 does per day for almost the entire three month season. Unfortunately, it's hard to find places to shoot long range. We're usually limited to ridge to ridge shooting.

Nobody actually does it or anything even close. The limit on bucks is 3 per year. I think they just want the hunters to have the opportunity to take does any time they want to.

That is in middle to west TN. In East TN we are the red headed step child of TN we only get to shoot one doe with a rifle and only during the last two weeks of the season. We also have a BUNCH of does.
