Well this is convenient! I just picked up a stainless model 70 classic in 338 Win Mag yesterday to use as a donor rifle for a new project. I was going to just tear it apart and let it sit until my 1:10" twist .358" barrel gets here, but now I might need to shoot it.

I'll need to take a hacksaw to the barrel to cut off the BOSS, trim it down to a more appropriate 20", and hand ream the chamber to 338/375 Ruger, but that might keep me busy for a while until the other barrel gets here.

I wonder how fast I can get a 200gr bullet moving out of a 338/408 Improved…… lol
