The 270 wby Mcwhorter impresses me again

Shot 140 classic hunters bergers today in the 270 wby Mcwhorter and I was very pleased with the results. Less than half moa at 825 yards and it was repeatable.
I'm getting 3350 fps with RL26. This group was 4 shots at 825 yards.

Nice shooting. That is just plain fun, isn't it? No matter how long you been at it, ringing steel at long range makes you smile. And groups like that make you giggle.

Looks like a little spin drift adj and you are knocking out the lights.

Oh shoot sorry, it a 1-10 twist.
The classic hunters actually have a higher BC than the 150 bergers which also shoot great in this rifle. According to my iSnipe my velocity at 825 yards is 1967fps and 1203 ft/lb.

I know...step it up...my 28" 1-9 barrel...140 SSTs...Ave 3567fps, ES 10 (I know small sample)...

I really enjoy my 270 Roys...

I thought about building another 270 wby to shoot 170 bergers but don't really want another built around one bullet incase it doesn't like them so I'm doing a 28 nosler.
