Test drove my new 450 Ultra Magnum on a WA bull.

Just talked to CEB they said a min of a 1-6 twist to stabalize a 6.5 bullet over 150g so that knocks me out of the game.

Very cool! I can see where that big Speer would CRUSH just about anything. It held up really well. Great shooting with that beast. Scotty

Congrats on the bull!! That is a heckuva rig you are shooting there. Just about what I have in mind only mine will be in .416. Have used a Rigby on lots of elk and as an elk rd. it does great out to as far as I can put them in the boiler room with the added advantage that they get to the boiler from the hip pocket shot. That .450 should do the same. Keep us up to date on it as I am very interested! Thanks for the info.

Its funny you mention the .416 Ultra becuase that is exactly what I've been thinking, just wasnt sure where to find decent B.C bullets. Guess I can bet on CEB now.
