Target at say 650+

What are u shooting and how big is the plate?I have a 3/8s x 2 foot plate @ 800 yards that my 300rum blows holes in but the 6.5 creedmoor barely dents.

Worst thing that can happen is that you will shoot through it. I scrounged plenty of steel, shot it up, and discarded.

Good luck

I've been shopping around for AR500 steel targets for awhile and my first purchase was at Superior Ideas, Inc.

I wanted something I can shoot pistol and magnum rifles at. They have a good selection to choose from. I bought some T Post hangers with the spring from another site to help absorb impacts. They will get a lot of punishment this weekend!

I have this one and my Win mag barely dents it at 250, granted I shoot heavy bullets so it's a bit slower than say a 150 grain. At 600 plus it doesn't even get affected. It's less expensive than a precision laser cut or whatever but it's 1/2" AR500 steel for reasonably cheap. You can get different sizes but I like 10's because it's roughly the size of the vitals on a deer.
