Thought you guys might like this creation. It is my personel Rem 700 300 Ultra, 26" Hart barrel, my brake, HS Pro series stock, Leupold dual dovetail rings really low, OD Green teflon, Wyatt's box mag, & 3.5-10x LRT DE custom run scope. Weighs 9.06 lbs ready to go. This is my standard issue, packing weight, go to rifle.

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gifLooks pretty sweet Shawn! I allways like seeing new camo patterns. I did one a while back where i used long feathers for stencils, made a unique flame like pattern, just mix jumble the base paint patterns, camo or whatever the back ground you are hunting around, Lay the feathers on top of the base paint job and use a flat black overspray the feathers leave a grass like pattern, cool stuff.

Did you do this yourself or is it from www.SNAKESKINILLUSIONS.COM ?

Just wondering because I emailed them and they never responded. Anyone know of a company that does camo hydrographics? The company I used before is defunct. I have an Accuracy International stock I want to get camo dipped.

i have seen the rifle in person and the pictures don't due it justice. Some one is going to come into the shop and lay down the cash and there will be a scramble to build another one before hunting season if you don't take it home. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Are you gonna put this rifle in the sell-trade-borrow section??? I´d borrow her for a couple of years. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Shawn, what´s the muzzle diam. before installing the brake??

barrel contour??

Muzzle diameter is .650" (# 4 Taper Hart ). The pattern is not really a trade secret but is hard to describe. I use several different mesh fabrics to paint through after a base coat.

Shawn,

I've been applying Duracoat to my firearms and an occassional outside job for a little over a year now. I'm curious how you get the fabrics to 'stick.' Do you just wrap it, or spray one side at a time...etc?

Hey Shawn , is that the Ceracoat that you used ?

How does it compair to say Duracoat or Brownells
Aluma-Hyde II when its only allowed to air cure?

Thatsa very cool desgine what does a pint job like that run cost wise?

On the stock standard laq paint untra flat. The metal is done in teflon od green. I use a mesh with thick wire and small holes. I do not stick the mesh but rather stretch it over and hold in place. The trick is in the breakup of the different shades in the skin. I charge 60.00 to do a stock.
