Been 16 months but worth the wait!

375 Viersco mag proprietary cartridge. One of a kind.

The 375 Viersco Magnum was developed for the super long range" Hard Target Interdiction" rifles.

Ballistics:
33.5" barrel test

375gn Cutting Edge bullet
H-BMG 50 powder
3300 fps
9100 Foot pounds at the muzzle

3000 yds super sonic
------------------------------------

350gn Predator solid
H-BMG50
3450 fps

Here she is

Custom action from Dave Viers, 34" Lilja barrel 1"9 twist to facilitate up to 450 gr 375 bullets. Manners stock. etc.

The cartridge compared to 338 RUM and 280 AI---180 gr capacity

Theoretically it will launch 260 accubonds at 4000 fps but it will not stabilize them.

Here is the webpage.....Yes that is my rifle on it!!!

Sweet Caroline
Gertrud.

I could go on but I am sure I am not helping. : )

Awesome rig.

Holy Smokes!!!

Awesome lookin' rifle!

That barrel's longer than a bad dream... which is exactly what that thing is gonna be to every creature who ends up starin' down the business end, though they'll never know what hit 'em at +3000 :D:D

Can't wait for a range report!

How do you like that scope? Curious how it will hold up to the 375. I have heard great reports about that scope on lesser rifles but have heard of a couple issues when mounted on larger magnums and 50 cal class rifles. To be fair, its not advertised as a 50 cal proof scope but Have heard some reports that it has failed on conventional large magnums as well.

Curious to hear how it stands up for you.

Kirby,

I know many people on optics talk and sniper's hide that use them with no problems. As for personal experience I have very little with this guy.

I have read most of the reports on the Hide as well. Will be interesting to hear your review of the scope on a REAL rifle!!! LOL

Keep us posted. For the money and features it would be a great scope if it does what its said to do on the larger magnum rifles. Was thinking hard about putting one on my 338 Raptor but just a bit nervous to pull the trigger without getting a review from someone that knows what a big gun really is.

Anything will stand up to a 223, 308 or 300 Win Mag, hell even most 338 Lapuas, but on a serious rifle, many of these scopes can let loose.

Please keep us posted as to what you see using the scope on your big 375.

Thanks

She certainly is a big case :)

I built a 375 VM2 imp, the case held 185-186 grains of H2O to the top of the neck.

Nice rifle you have got there :)

Looking forward to seeing how she performs for you.

Seems I remember it was rated for the 50 cals but I just took a look on their site and most of their Super Sniper Scopes are rated for the 50 but not the 5x20. They must have removed that designation for some reason.

Very cool rifle as are Kirby's. Keep us in the loop when you start shooting it.
