Scope size

Three things control scope height, cheek piece height then objective and occurlar diameter. 84l has a fairly standard sporter cheek piece so I'd be looking somewhere in the low to medium heights. Don't know what model you have but they appear to have 42 and 44 mm objectives so you won't need hight rings unless you have Jay Lenos chin. Probable wouldn't do super lows as the 90 degree bolt throw doesn't give a ton of ocular room for manipulating the bolt.

I have a red field battle zone someone gave me to put on my kimber 84L. How do I accurately figure out how high to mount my optic
You could get mediums in pretty much any brand and they'd probably work fine. If you want to measure exactly what you need, google "coin stacking scope height" and you'll find videos that explain one method.
