The Zeiss LRP would be a good option and look into Steiner's H series scopes.

Hi all...just need some input...I have watched so many you tube videos my eyes are crossed! Here is what I want:
FFP
Scope will be used for hunting and possibly some long range fun up to 1000 yards
Budget is between 1500-2750...
I am leaning Leupold or Nightforce or Sig
will be mounting on a Sig Cross Sawtooth 6.5 PRC
Most of the use will be whitetail hunting from 100-500 yards but want ability to go farther if necessary or for fun

I've owned and used many scopes in my 78 years, Leupolds, Vortex, Revic, Arken, Nightforce, Bushnell, Weaver, etc. Last year, I chose the Easy Button for long range hunting and purchased the Burris Eliminator 6 which was about $2200. Love the simplicity and accuracy of holdovers with this scope. Shot it from 100 to 1000 yds with 100 percent hits on steel. No need for a separate range finder, no twisting of turrets, no Kestral or phone for weather ballistics, I just push a laser button and hold the red dot on the target. Super easy and super fast. This scope compensates/calculates for weather changes, mountain incline, elevation changes, cartridge changes, internal level, warns of impact energy available at the lased distance, etc. Easy Button for sure.

Why are you set on FFP? You do not necessarily need FFP for long range plinking where you have time to dial, adjust parallax and anything else you want to do. I have had my SFP scopes out to 900 and 1000 yards many times. I just leave the magnification on its proper setting and rock on. If PRS or similar type competition is on the menu, then FFP is the only way to go. If not, you have more options.

Happy with nx8 ffp line...lighter weight, compact, glass is good.

With your budget all scopes will have the best optics, it's just a matter of which check the most boxes. It's like choosing which Brazilian beach volleyball girl you want to date. Just close your eyes and go eenie, meanie, minie, .......... you just can't choose a wrong one.

Probably impossible to do but whatever scope you think you might go with, I'd put them side by side and look through them. Everyone seems to see a different picture when looking through scopes. Some scope seems clearer to others, or they like the eye box better. Everyone is different. Take them outside and look through them, that's where it makes a difference.
