Scope mounts

i am looking for scope rings for a Remington. Looking to try to save weight but not loose quality. looking to save a little weight and not add a rail. What options are out there other than Talley? Or are they about it?

Lots of options. Leupold dual dovetails are strong and inexpensive. Burris XTR 2 piece bases allow you to use any picatinny or weaver style rings on them. Warne 2 piece bases allow you to use weaver style rings.

Although I haven't used them the warne mountain tech rings look intriguing. I think pairing them with warne steel bases would give an extremely strong and light setup.

If you need some slope the Hawkins Precisions one piece ring and base would be the route I would go.

Just ordered a Near Mfg. Alphamount. Never used them before. A few of my buddies have them and love them. Pretty expensive though. Check them out.

I'm not sure the alpha mount qualifies as lightweight. Quality, for sure. Right up alongside spuhr mounts

Very true. If I'm not mistaken they have some lighter options available. I might be wrong though lol.

Thank you for all the replies and other brands to search. It's just one of the last decisions to complete a recent build last decision will be swarovski z5 or NF SHV

Another vote for Talley's. They even have some with 20 moa built in, and a new ring top with built in level.

I like the Hawkins. No need to lap and they have the integrated bubble level on rear top.

Hawkins sloped 25moa 1 piece base and ring with level. I was a decout Talley guy but am tired of them breaking. Hawkins is probably 2x as strong with minimally more weight.

They can be found new for $125 if a guy looks around a bit.

IMO Seekins rings are better than Talleys I have used both and prefer the Seekins!

I use aluminum mark 4 rings. With an aluminum one or two piece base would be very light weight

Nightforce makes an ultralight one piece mount that is nice but has a price tag to boot
