I've only just finished wrestling a Scalaworks LEAP 09 mount onto an LWRC REPR MKII 7.72 NATO rifle. Has anyone else had trouble opening Scalarworks mounts wide enough to drop correctly into position on a standard 1913 rail? I've got five LEAP mounts on firearms ranging from LWRCs (x2) to IIWIs to CMMGs, and every one occasioned a fight to get properly saddled up. I'd be grateful for any advice or guidance. Thank you.
