You might give Sinarms a try. Sin Arms, Other Sports, Watertown, SD 57201 - index

Sadly, I gave up on SSS along time ago for the same reason.

(Which lead me to>>>>) Try Kevin Rayhill of Home - Stockade Gun Stocks, he's a super nice guy and is a Savage guru. Both him and his wife Janet are good people.

If you end up talking to Kevin, be prepared because he can talk. :D:rolleyes::)

However, I would try the sponsors here first! Some of them also have their own muzzle brakes and are very effective. You cannot go wrong with any one of them.

If you end up with Kevin (or any other gunsmith) and you do not like the muzzle brake(s) they offer, I would definitely go with any of site sponsors' muzzle brake designs.

Good luck!

Ed

thank you for the leads. i finally got a message back from sss and there next opening is july.
I will look into the sponsors on here and see what they can do for me.

Well I seeing able to us this rifle for hunting this year.nt my barreled action to SSS . they said 4-6 weeks to do the work. Here it is September 9th and I have not heard anything from them they have not returned any e mails since they first got my rifle and I cant get them on the phone. the recording says they don't except messages and to e mail them or send a letter in the mail.
I'm not trying to badmouth them im just getting a little concerned about being able to use the rifle for hunting this season.
has anyone heard from them or know what might be going on with them ?

what I meant to say is I sent my rifle the first week of july and I cant get a hold of them . they said 4-6 weeks for the work being done, I hope everything is alright with them .
Does anyone have any info on SSS recently ?
