Did this rifle just fall off the ledge? Don't see many. Fine rifle, very well made, accurate, light. I guess the $3,000 price tag killed it?

I just looked in to these this past week actually at my local gun store. I personally was wanting the carbon wolf in 300 win mag. They called there rep and they sad sako had quit making the 85 models and was coming out with a new model known as the model 95!

The Sako 85 series is still listed on the Sako website. I have a carbonlight in .243 Winchester and it was easy to carry on a recent backpack hunting trip. The fit and finish are superb however my accuracy is only 1 MOA.
