safely possible?

Does anyone know if i could possibly get a 208amax to fly at least 2850fps out of my 24in savage police rifle chambered in 300 win mag?
I want to accurately place rounds at over 1000yrds. Are there other loads that would be better out of my rifle? Thanks for your time.

I don't have a 300 Win mag but Hodgdon' s loading manual says that a case full of Retumbo will get you that much velocity and more. I have been trying Retumbo in a 264 Win mag and it is awesome. I have heard people make the statement that Retumbo is the Varget of big cases.
